Antioxidant 1076 is white powder or granules; melting point: 50~55℃; ash content <0.10%; volatile matter <0.50%; transmittance: greater than 96% at 425nm, greater than 98% at 500nm; content greater than 98%. This product is non-polluting, has good heat and water resistance, is soluble in benzene, acetone, cyclohexane, etc., is slightly soluble in methanol, and is insoluble in water. Basically non-toxic.
Synthesis method of antioxidant 1076:
Mix 10 parts of β-(3,5-di-tert-butyl4hydroxyphenyl) Methyl propionate, 8.36 parts of stearyl alcohol, 1.44 parts of sodium methoxide, 1.14 parts of dimethyl sulfoxide, etc. are put into the transesterification kettle, heated under stirring to melt and dissolve the materials, and react at about 140°C for 3 hours. Then cool down to 80-90°C, and neutralize sodium methoxide with 1.6 parts of acetic acid. Continue to lower the temperature to 30°C, add 12.6 parts of petroleum ether to extract the reactant. After stirring, the mixture is allowed to stand for separation, and methanol and sodium acetate are recovered from the separated waste liquid. The oil layer is washed with water, cooled, crystallized, filtered and dried to obtain the crude product. The filtrate is distilled to recover petroleum ether.
Add the crude product to the total input of 2.4 parts of alcohol and 1.2 parts of ethyl acetate into the dissolving kettle, stir and heat until reflux, wait until all the materials are dissolved, filter while hot, and remove insoluble substances. The filtrate is sent to the distillation device, the solvent is recovered and concentrated, then discharged, cooled, crystallized, and then centrifuged. The crystal particles are dried to obtain the finished product.
