Product Introduction
Ancamine K54 curing agent is a technical grade product of 3-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol, a general-purpose Lewis base catalyst for curing epoxy resins. It is used both as a curing agent (adhesive applications) and as an activator for other curing agents including amidoamines, amine adducts and polyamides (coatings, castings, floors, concrete and adhesive applications) ). It is also the preferred catalyst for liquid epoxy resin and liquid polysulfide mixtures for body solder, sealant and concrete adhesive applications. In addition, it is an efficient catalyst for epoxy resins cured with polycarboxylic acids and anhydrides (casting and lamination applications), as well as isocyanate/polyol and isocyanate trimerization reactions (isocyanurate foam applications).
