Lauric acid (alias dodecanoic acid, dodecanoic acid), white Needle crystal, soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in acetone, petroleum ether and water. It is most widely used in surfactant industry.

Used in the organic industry to manufacture alkyd resins and lubricants , surfactants and other chemical additives;
Used in the food industry to manufacture food additives, lauric acid is an edible defoaming agent and spice that is allowed to be used in China’s GB2760-1996;
The light industry is used as raw materials for the manufacture of soaps, detergents, cosmetic surfactants and chemical fiber oils;
The pesticide industry is used for agricultural herbicides and insecticides as well as a variety of organic synthetic raw materials;
Perfume industry: The following spices or spice intermediates can be directly synthesized from lauric acid: lauryl amide, ethyl laurate, phenyl laurate, lauryl alcohol, lauryl aldehyde, lauryl nitrile, lauryl ketone, lauryl formaldehyde , lauryl ether and so on.
Used in the daily chemical industry to manufacture cosmetics.
