Application in saturated polyester coatings :
Excellent hardness with some flexibility
Has a very high glass transition temperature (Tg) compared to linear aliphatic diols
The hydroxyl group has high reactivity, and the reaction speed is fast and the reaction temperature is low during the resin synthesis and curing process.
Application in unsaturated polyester resin products :
Excellent heat resistance and electrical properties, especially for the synthesis of unsaturated polyester resin glass fiber reinforced sheet molding compound SMC.
Very high crystallinity can be used for granular injection molding.

Synthesis Tips
– A packed fractionator is required due to water solubility.
– meltedCHDM The contents of the container were mixed and agitated prior to sampling to ensure a homogeneous isomer mixture.

– Two primary hydroxyl groups provide good reactivity and moderate synthesis time.
