Coscat® 83 is an organic bismuth compound catalyst specially developed for two-component polyurethane systems. It is widely recommended for use in elastomer systems to reduce catalyst toxicity.   Coscat® 83 catalyst effectively reduces toxicity, effectively replacing lead, mercury and other organometallic carboxylates and organotin catalysts without reducing performance.

Coscat® 83 catalyst can promote fast curing of the system, however, in medium soft to medium hardness In the final stage of system curing, the curing speed will slow down and cause surface stickiness, while Coscat® Z-22 can effectively reduce the surface stickiness problem caused by slowing down the reaction speed, so as to achieve a good final curing effect. We recommend a 1:1 weight ratio of Coscat® Z-22 to Coscat® 83 catalyst.
