Features /application

Desmodur® E 2863 XP can be used in combination with suitable polyols and/or fatty amines , such as the Desmophen® NH family, for formulating gloss-retaining two-component polyurethane and elastic polyurea-coatings.

Save

– Store in original Covestro airtight container.
– Recommended storage temperature: 10 – 30 °C.
– Protect from moisture, heat and foreign substances.
General Information: This product is moisture sensitive. Store in tightly closed containers. High temperature storage will lead to an increase in product viscosity and a decrease in NCO content.

This product is mainly used as a curing agent for coatings and adhesives. Handling of coatings or adhesives containing reactive polyisocyanate and residual monomeric HDI requires appropriate protective measures, see Safety Data Sheet. Therefore, these products may only be used for industrial or commercial purposes. They are not suitable for home (DIY) applications.
