Main types of expansion agents

Concrete expansion agents are divided into three categories
1. Calcium sulfoaluminate concrete expansion agents

Expansion agents with hydrated calcium sulfoaluminate or ettringite as the main expansion source

2. Calcium sulfoaluminate – calcium oxide concrete expansion agent

It refers to a concrete expansion agent that reacts with cement and water to form ettringite and calcium hydroxide after hydration. .

3. Calcium oxide concrete expansion agent

It refers to a concrete expansion agent that is mixed with cement and water and undergoes a hydration reaction to generate calcium hydroxide.
