Special reminder

Pilling test method: Add wax additive to 4 m /s disperse for 5 minutes, then add 20% butyl acetate, keep stirring at 4 m/s for 2 minutes, use a 100 um film applicator
Scrape across glass. The film should be transparent and free of particles as it dries.

Fineness test method: scraper fineness meter, ISO1524 . Disperse the wax additive at 4 m/s for 5 minutes, and test it with a 50um scraper fineness meter, the fineness: 15um.

Application

Paint Industry

Features and Benefits: This additive can improve the directional arrangement of effect pigments such as aluminum powder and pearl powder, and improve the effect of different light with different colors; reduce short-wave defects (motley, Bernard swirlvortex), to improve the leveling of the next finish varnish; to prevent settling in the tank.

Recommended use

CERAFAK 103 Recommended for solventborne basecoats and one-coat automotive metallic finishes.

Recommended dosage

50%Auxiliary dosage (as purchased) is based on solid resin.

The above recommended dosage is for reference, the optimal dosage should be After a series of experiments to determine

Joining method and processing guidance

Distribute the wax additive evenly at 4 m/s, Add the resin solution with stirring. In the system containing CAB, the CAB solution should be dispersed evenly with the resin solution at a high speed (> 5 m/s), and then added to the stirred wax slurry. Pigment pastes and solvents should be added with stirring.
