Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate (AES) is a white or light yellow gel-like paste that is easily soluble in water. Has excellent decontamination, emulsification and foaming properties. Easy to biodegrade, biodegradability is greater than 90%. It is widely used in shampoo, bath liquid, dishwashing detergent, compound soap and other washing cosmetics; used in textile industry wetting agent, detergent, etc. Anionic surfactant.
The storage temperature and dilution precautions of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (AES) are as follows:
1. Storage temperature: At high temperatures (above 50°C) or in acidic (pH5) environments, alkyl ether sulfates may decompose. The reason for decomposition is Alkyl ether sulfates undergo hydrolysis. Since alkyl ether sulfates are easily hydrolyzed at high temperatures, this product should avoid storage in an environment above 50°C.
2. Note on use: If AES is to be diluted into an aqueous solution containing 30% or 60% active substance without a viscosity modifier, Often results in a highly viscous gel. To avoid this phenomenon, the correct method is to add the highly active product to the specified amount of water and stir it at the same time. Do not add water to highly active ingredients as this may cause gel formation.
