Solubility/Dilution
Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA can use esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, propylene glycol methyl ether acetateester, acetone, butanone, methyl Isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100, 150, 200S and thisA mixture of some solvents. However, the stability of the resulting solution still needs to be tested. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as solvents. Desmodur® BL3370MPA cannot be diluted below 40% solids. Long-term storage of solutions with low solid content may cause turbidity and precipitation.

Compatibility

or 120°C for 20 minutes
or 160°C for 7 minutes

Yellowing may appear at 160 °C above, mainly depends on co-reactants used and bake time. When using coil coating, sufficient crosslinking was achieved at a maximum plate temperature (PMT) of approximately 216°C. It is not necessary to add a catalyst to Desmodur® BL3370 MPA.

Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA should be stored in airtight containers. Under proper storage conditions at room temperature, this product has a shelf life of at least 6 months.

Flammable, eye irritating, product safety data sheet should be strictly followed ( 300202). It includes relevant information such as labeling, transportation and storage, as well as relevant information on product use, product safety and ecology.
