The mortar used to make a mortar waterproof layer (also called rigid waterproofing) is called waterproof mortar. Waterproof mortar is also called cationic neoprene latex waterproof and anti-corrosion material. Cationic chloroprene latex is a polymer molecule-modified polymer waterproof and anti-corrosion system. It is a polymer latex composed of imported epoxy resin modified latex, domestic chloroprene rubber latex, polyacrylate, synthetic rubber, various emulsifiers, modified latex, etc. It is a polymer waterproof and anti-corrosion material made by adding base material and appropriate amount of chemical additives and fillers, and adding it through processes such as plasticizing, mixing, and calendering. It uses imported materials and domestic high-quality auxiliary materials, and is a high-quality product produced in accordance with the highest level of national industry standards. It is a recommended product for the construction of well-off housing in the country. It has a long lifespan and is easy to construct. It has a lifespan of more than 50 years if soaked in water for a long time.
Generally speaking, waterproof mortar is ordinary cement mortar mixed with waterproofing agent. Ingredients: cement, fine sand, gravel (optional depending on the situation), waterproofing agent; the ratio of cement to fine sand is 2:3, and the waterproofing agent content is 0.5%.
To prepare waterproof mortar from cement, 3% to 5% of chloride by weight of cement needs to be added. Dry-mixed ordinary waterproof mortar is divided into M10, M15, and M20 according to the grade strength, and is divided into P6, P8, and P10 according to the anti-permeability grade. Ordinary waterproofing mostly involves adding waterproofing agents to achieve the waterproofing effect, while the waterproofing mortar in special mortars mainly relies on redispersible rubber powder to achieve the waterproofing effect. The latter has a better waterproofing effect than the former.
A rigid waterproof material that achieves the purpose of waterproofing and impermeability by increasing the compactness of the mortar and improving its crack resistance. It is mainly used in waterproofing projects that will not cause harmful cracks due to structural settlement, temperature, humidity changes, vibration, etc. There are three types of waterproof mortar used as the waterproof layer of waterproofing projects: (1) rigid multi-layer cement mortar; (2) waterproof mortar mixed with waterproofing agents; (3) polymer cement waterproof mortar. </p
