Cement flexibility agent is formulated with organic polymer binary copolymer emulsion, penetrating agent and additives. It can improve the interface bonding between new and old concrete (mortar) and improve the impermeability, wear resistance and crack resistance of mortar. It is a good material for repair, anti-seepage, interface bonding and coating.
1. Product performance
Compared with ordinary cement mortar, polymer mortar mixed with 20% cement flexibility agent has the following properties:
1. The bonding strength ratio of old mortar is ≥300%
2. The flexural strength ratio is ≥150%
3. The compressive strength ratio is ≥100%
4. Wear ratio ≤25%
II. Scope of application
1. Bonding: used for paving ceramic tiles and marble; used for interface bonding between new and old mortar (or concrete).
2. Repair: Repair concrete cracks and defects; repair damaged surfaces such as roads, airports, runways, etc.
3. Anti-seepage: used for anti-seepage on walls, storage pools, warehouse floors, etc.
4. Paving: used for floor paving in residences, warehouses, office buildings, platforms, aisles, etc.
3. Mixing method
First mix the cement modifier with water, and then add it to the cement yellow sand (or clean cement) that has been dry-mixed evenly in advance, according to the construction requirements. Stir until appropriate fluidity.
IV. Instructions for use
1. Base treatment: For general repair or painting surfaces, use a wire brush to remove surface laitance and sludge or chip away at loose concrete. When repairing cracks, it is necessary to chisel a “V”-shaped groove 15-20mm deep and 100-200mm wide along the direction of the crack (except when the crack is thin). Clean the repaired surface with water (use 10% alkaline water for greasy stains), sprinkle with water to moisten it, and wipe dry with a rag until no floating water remains before applying.
2. Apply a line of polymer cement slurry prepared according to the ratio of No. 1 along the repair surface (or painting surface). When applying, strive to be thin and even, without leakage or flow.
3. When repairing, use No. 2 mix ratio polymer mortar to fill in layers, no more than 2cm thick each time, and the interval is 2-3 hours.
4. When anti-seepage or paving, the polymer mortar prepared according to the ratio of serial number 3 or 4 should be smeared, and the thickness of each layer should not exceed 7-10mm. It is required to smooth the surface with one force to avoid repeated wiping. If bubbles are encountered, puncture and compress them. When constructing a large area, the construction should be done in blocks at intervals or joint strips should be installed. The block area should be less than 10~15m2, and the interval should be less than 24 hours; the joint strips can be 8mm × 14mm, with 30° sloped wooden strips or polychlorethylene on both sides, which are pre-fixed on the base surface and can be closed after plastering. It can be pulled out after light and repaired after 24 hours. When encountering structural expansion joints, the expansion joint filling material must be 1cm lower than the base surface, and then the modified mortar is spread on it.
5. The surface after construction should be covered with plastic film and wet straw bags for 7 days. Then apply 1-2 coats of polymer cement slurry on its surface.
6. This product should generally be used above 5℃.
5. Packaging and Storage
This product is packed in 50kg plastic drum or 200kg iron drum. This product should be stored tightly in a cool place and has a shelf life of half a year. </p
