Foam concrete structural properties foam concrete

Because it is lightweight and porous, bubble concrete also has material properties such as thermal insulation, heat insulation, fire resistance, and frost resistance. It has good physical and mechanical properties and is a good building energy-saving material. . The mixed slurry can be self-leveling and self-compacting when formed; it has good construction workability, is convenient for pumping and leveling, has good compatibility with other building materials, and the strength can be adjusted as needed.
The main performance is reflected in the following aspects:
(1) Lightness: The dry bulk density is 300~1600kg/m3, which is equivalent to about 1/5~1/8 of ordinary cement concrete. Reduce the overall load of the building, reduce the cost of the structure and foundation, and be beneficial to earthquake resistance;
(2) Good thermal performance: Foam concrete contains many small holes, forming good thermal performance, and the normal thermal conductivity is 0.08 ~0.25W/m*K, the thermal insulation and sound insulation effect is obvious. Foam concrete blocks with a thickness of 200 to 250mm are used for exterior walls in the vast areas of my country’s three northern regions. The thermal insulation performance is equivalent to that of 490mm (two bricks) thick. It is better used for energy-saving wall and roof insulation layers. [1]
(3) Good thermal insulation and fire protection performance: Since foam concrete is a porous lightweight material, it can be used as a sun-facing thermal insulation layer on floors and as a sound insulation layer along the road side. At the same time, it also has good effects in terms of fire protection and waterproof performance. [1]
(4) Integrity: It can be cast and constructed on site, and is closely integrated with the main body, without leaving any boundary gaps or ventilation pipes.
(5) Low elasticity and shock absorption: The porosity of the bubble-mixed lightweight soil gives it a low elastic modulus, allowing it to have good absorption and dispersion of impact loads.
(6) Compressive resistance: Compressive strength is 0.6~25.0MPa.
(7) Water resistance: The cast-in-place bubble mixed lightweight soil has low water absorption, relatively independent closed bubbles and good integrity, making it have certain waterproof properties.
(8) Durability: The same as the life of the main project.
(9) Fast construction speed: Only simple machines can be used to realize automated operations, and long-distance transportation of 800 meters can be achieved. The workload is 150~300m3/working day.
(10) Environmental protection: The raw materials required for bubble mixed lightweight soil are cement and foaming agent. The foaming agent is neutral and does not contain harmful substances such as benzene and formaldehyde, which avoids environmental pollution and fire hazards.
(11) Economy: Make full use of waste materials, save farmland and energy, and reduce prices. </p
