Glass beads are used as lightweight aggregates for gypsum mortar, with a particle size of 0.05~0.60mm, a bulk density of 132kg/m3, a volume water absorption rate of 39%, and a cylinder compressive strength of 159kpa. The application of vitrified microspheres in self-leveling gypsum can reduce the amount of fine sand, reduce the density of mortar, improve workability, and reduce the wear of mortar on spraying equipment.
A good gypsum mortar has fine and uniform powder particles, no large bubbles after mixing with water, a smooth coating, a hard and firm texture after curing, and does not fall off or become powdery. Inferior gypsum mortar has uneven particles and is difficult to mix evenly. There are bubbles, and problems such as powdering and falling off will occur after solidification. By adding an appropriate amount of activator, hard putty gypsum cement or cementitious materials can be produced, which is suitable for reinforcing soft soil foundations, wall paint, mechanical models, tunnel support and fiberboard production. Putty gypsum powder is a commonly used basic treatment material in decoration and decoration, and it is a basic function that cannot be ignored.
The product must be used within the warranty period. If it exceeds the shelf life, scratch inspection must be carried out before construction. The product must be waterproof and should be stored in a cool, dry place with good sealing properties. In summer or in hot and windy climates, please wet the wall with clean water before applying putty, and then apply putty when there is no clean water on the wall.
The finished gypsum mortar can be used as long as water is added, and the construction is relatively convenient. But the price is relatively expensive, and if water is used directly, the putty layer is not strong enough and relatively tender. Therefore, the responsible painter should add a little more white latex to increase the adhesion of the putty layer.
