Recommended Dosage

0.2-1% of total formula (as supplied) can resist settling.

Cut properly, add while stirring, as soon as possible.Disperse evenly. No special temperature control is required. It can be added after the grinding stage or letdown stage to adjust the viscosity. If the product is compatible with the system, the rheological effect can be assessed 2 to 4 hours after addition, depending on the polarity. Recommended for medium polar systems. BYK-411 is suitable for non-polar systems, BYK-420 is suitable for highly polar and aqueous systems.

The use of drier may cause discoloration due to the formation of metal complexes, rheological properties Need to test. No yellowing will occur at the standard dosage. When the amount added is too high, attention should be paid to yellowing. When used in reaction systems, catalytic systems and nitrocellulose systems, we recommend testing storage stability.

PVC Plastisol

Features and advantages: It can be used in PVC plastisol to improve thixotropy. Improves anti-settling and anti-sagging performance, and improves processing efficiency. RHEOBYK-410 reduces the floating and blooming tendency of colored plastisols. There will be a foam stabilization effect.

Recommended Dosage

0.1-0.5phr of PVC resin (as supplied) can resist settling and floating color .

0.3-1 phr of PVC resin (as supplied) for anti-sag.

Up to 3phr can be added.

Natural Curing resin system

Features and advantages: very suitable for anti-settling of casting and reactive resin systems, such as Epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic resins, and some polyester resin systems. It can improve the anti-sag without affecting the leveling property. Usually RHEOBYK-410 only increases the viscosity at high shear rates, so it does not affect the workability at high shear rates. This is due to the formation of a three-dimensional network structure, the time of which varies depending on the system, and the thixotropy exhibited improves the defoaming performance.
