Additol XW 6580 is a leveling and substrate wetting agent based on polyether modified siloxane for water-based and oil-based coating systems.
  Strongly reduces surface tension, improves substrate wetting and leveling, while not stabilizing foam.
Additol XW 6580 neither improves surface slip nor affects recoatability. If higher surface slip is required, we recommend the addition of Additol XL 123N, which is colorless or light yellow.

Recommended use
Additol XW 6580 can be added at any stage of paint production.
The amount added is 0.05-0.5% of the total amount of the formula.
