Due to the unstable supply of hexamethylenediamine raw materials, it is not conducive to the development of my country’s polyamide PA66 industry.

In recent years, in order to break the current situation of domestic adiponitrile production, many companies in my country have entered into the layout and strive to break through the technical barriers of adiponitrile. At this stage, certain progress has been made, and my country’s independent supply capacity of adiponitrile is expected to be enhanced. In addition, my country has a large output of polyamide PA66 and has become the world’s largest adiponitrile-polyamide PA66 market, attracting foreign giant adiponitrile companies to settle in China. At present, the world’s two largest adiponitrile manufacturers, Invista and Ascend, have invested in and built factories in Shanghai and Lianyungang respectively. Against this background, my country’s polyamide PA66 industry has promising development prospects.

From the downstream analysis of the industrial chain, engineering plastics have excellent comprehensive properties, with the advantages of high tensile strength, oil resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance, and good electrical insulation. They are the main application areas of polyamide PA66, accounting for approximately 10% of polyamide PA66 consumption. 60% of the total volume is mainly used in automotive parts, electronic and electrical fields. my country is the world’s largest automobile producer and a major automobile consumer. Its strong demand for engineering plastics will drive the growth in demand for polyamide PA66 and promote the rapid development of the polyamide PA66 industry.

From the perspective of geographical distribution, my country’s polyamide PA66 companies are mainly distributed in the eastern coastal areas, among which Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Shanghai have more companies.
