September 6, 2023 – Solvay China established the “Solvay Scholarship” at Fudan University and East China University of Science and Technology for the second consecutive year, aiming to provide support for the cultivation of young talents in chemical related disciplines.

The Solvay Scholarship aims to reward outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students who not only have excellent grades, but also have a strong spirit of innovation and a good sense of cooperation. The scholarship will give priority to students who have achieved remarkable scientific research achievements and outstanding academic ability. The first “Solvay Scholarship” will be awarded in early 2023, and a total of 29 students from the two universities will be honored.
