1. Excellent emulsion thickening ability
From the rheological curve of the emulsion, it can be seen that the thickening efficiency of Rheovis® HS 1181 AM on the low shear and medium shear of the emulsion is higher than that of competing rheological additives.

In the paint experiment, three thickener ratio formulations were designed: pure HEC thickener formulation (F1), competing product HASE thickener / HEC thickener formulation (F2), Rheovis® HS 1181 AM
/ HEC thickener formulation (F3).
With the initial KU viscosity of the paint at 95 as the target, the dosage of the three formulation thickeners was adjusted, as shown in the table above.
