Background and overview[1][2]
Organotin compounds have certain biological activity, and diphenyltin oxide is a type of organotin compound.
Apply[1-2]
Examples of applications of diphenyltin oxide are as follows:
1) Prepare a phenyltin coordination compound and its preparation method and application. The structural formula is as follows, where Ph represents a phenyl group. Preparation method: Add 1 mmol of N-hydroxy-3,4,5,6-tetrachlorophthalimide, 1.0~1.5 mmol of sodium ethoxide, 1~1.5 mmol of diphenyltin oxide, 20 ~30ml of methanol, stir and reflux for 6 to 7 hours at a temperature of 50~70°C, cool to room temperature, and evaporate to obtain an orange solid; recrystallize with dichloromethane-ethanol to obtain yellow transparent crystals, which are organic tin compounds compound; wherein, the volume ratio of methylene chloride to ethanol is 2:1~1:1. Application of the phenyltin oxide coordination compound in preparing drugs for treating leukemia, lung adenocarcinoma and colon cancer. The organotin coordination compound of the present invention has the characteristics of high anti-cancer activity, good fat solubility, low cost, simple preparation method, etc., and provides a new way for the development of anti-cancer drugs.
2) Prepare a diphenyltin (IV) complex of acetophenonate-3-hydroxy-2-naphthoylhydrazone. The preparation method is: add acetophenonate-3 into the reaction vessel. – A mixture of hydroxy-2-naphthoylhydrazone, diphenyltin oxide, toluene and ethanol is stirred and refluxed for 6 to 7 hours in a temperature range of 70 to 85°C, cooled to room temperature, and rotary evaporated to obtain an orange-yellow solid; Then it is recrystallized, which is the diphenyltin(IV) complex of acetophenonate-3-hydroxy-2-naphthoylhydrazone. The complex of the invention has high anti-cancer activity and can be used as a raw material to prepare drugs for treating human liver cancer, human lung adenocarcinoma, human leukemia or human colon cancer. Compared with platinum-based anticancer drugs currently commonly used, the organotin coordination compound of the present invention has the characteristics of high anticancer activity, good fat solubility, low cost, and simple preparation method, and provides a new way for the development of anticancer drugs.
