Chongqing Huafeng’s nylon 66 integrated project has entered the trial production stage and is expected to be officially put into production in February next year

On October 8, Chongqing Huafeng’s third-phase integrated nylon 66 project with an annual output of 300,000 tons entered the trial production stage and is expected to be officially put into production in February next year.

Huafon’s 300,000 tons/year nylon 66 integrated project is located in Baitao New Materials Technology City, Fuling District. The project has currently completed 2 sets of salt-forming units, 2 sets of nylon 66 continuous polymerization units, 1 set of nylon 66 intermittent polymerization units and related supporting facilities and public works. After formal production, the annual output is expected to reach 150,000 tons. The project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and is divided into six phases. Currently, the first and second phases have been completed and put into production, and the third phase has also entered the trial production stage.

According to reports, after the Huafeng 300,000 tons/year nylon 66 integrated project is fully completed, the annual output of nylon 66 products will reach 300,000 tons, with an annual output value of nearly 10 billion yuan, providing more than 500 jobs.

On June 29, 2022, Chongqing Huafeng’s 300,000 tons/year adiponitrile project (Phase III) and 300,000 tons/year nylon 66 integrated project (Phase II) were completed. The 300,000 tons/year Nylon 66 integrated project was completed. (Phase III) started on the same day. After the third phase of the 300,000 tons/year adiponitrile project is put into operation, Chongqing Huafeng will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of adiponitrile and 200,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine.
