Isopropyl laurate is a colorless liquid with a melting point of 4.2°C and a boiling point of 285.23°C.
The uses of isopropyl laurate are as follows:
1. As a pharmaceutical excipient, it can be used as a solvent and transdermal accelerator for external drugs, replacing vegetable oil, and as a lubricant and matrix for the preparation of ointments and creams.
2. Used as oily raw materials for cosmetics and additives for lubricating oils. It is recommended to be used in stamping oil solvents (air conditioning aluminum fin oil), base oils and additives for metal working fluids, as well as solvent-based cleaning agents and water-based cleaning fluids.
