“Catalogue of Prohibited Raw Materials for Cosmetics” adds 17 kinds of banned raw materials for cosmetics

On January 22, 2021, in order to further strengthen the safety supervision of cosmetic raw materials, according to the work deployment of the State Food and Drug Administration, the China Institute of Food and Drug Control revised the “Catalogue of Prohibited Raw Materials in Cosmetics” and other documents, and issued the “Catalogue of Prohibited Raw Materials in Cosmetics” Catalog of Raw Materials (Draft for Comments)” and “Catalogue of Plant (Animal) Raw Materials Banned in Cosmetics (Draft for Comments)” are open to solicit opinions from the public.
